Connecting Proximity Sensor to Zira

This manual compatible with: Banner T30SN6FF200 Proximity sensor wired to Zira R40 Cellular Gateway.

The Banner T30SN6FF200 proximity sensor has a sensing distance of 6 inches.
For reliable count, mount it at a fix position where only the counted objects are passing within 6 inches away.

Sensor wiring
The sensor has 4 wires which power the sensor and communicates each count to the R40 Gateway. Here is how to wire the sensor:

  • Brown wire - To R40 (+) Power Supply and R40 DIPWR
  • Black wire - To R40 DI1 (Second sensor can be connected to DI2)
  • Blue and White together - To R40 (-) Power Supply
  •

    R40 Setting
The R40 comes fully configured, it needs the following physical settings:

    1. Connect the 4G (unmarked) antenna to the 4G socket.
    2. Optional - connect the 2 WIFI (Marked) antenna.
    3. Connect the supplied power transmitter to the + and - connector.
    4. Complete the sensor wiring as mentioned above.

    Testing the wires
It is recommended to connect all wires before final mount.
To test move an object across the sensor eye, the following lamps indicate correct operation:

    • Power - solid green
    • Orange blinks on movement detection
    R40
    • System - bling green
    • Wifi - solid green
    • 4G - blink green
